Bangkok is the capital of the Kingdom of Thailand. It is one of the famous international cities in Asia. You will be able to get rich experience on a high-class course, or play at a good price on a local course.
Thailand’s largest beach resort “Pattaya” is located 150 kilometers southeast from Bangkok. It is about an hour and a half drive from Suvarnabhumi International Airport and about two hours from downtown Bangkok. The Pattaya downtown area is large and crowded with hotels, restaurants and beer bars. The golf course in this area is located within 30 minutes from downtown Pattaya, and is a golf destination with many courses where national tournaments are held.
It is a highland resort about 200 km northeast from Bangkok (about 3 hours by car). Chiang Mai is located 720 kilometers north from Bangkok (about 1 hour and 10 minutes by domestic flight). Unlike the flat Bangkok area, you can enjoy a rugged course because it is a mountainous area. In the morning and evening of the dry season (November to March), the temperature can drop below 20 degrees Celsius, making it a popular summer resort. Many courses have accommodation facilities, so it is also recommended for golf training camps.
Thailand’s largest resort island “Phuket” is located 1000 kilometers south from Bangkok (about 1 hour and 15 minutes by domestic flight). It is one of the world’s leading resorts called “Pearl of the Andaman Sea” because of its beauty. Not only hotels and golf courses, but also bars, entertainment, shopping and gourmet food are available at downtown Patong Beach.
